Why it worksOne pot of water cooks the potatoes, the eggs and the vegetables one after another. The sauce is the same simple peanut sauce as satay.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Cut the potatoes into chunks and boil them for 15 minutes. After 7 minutes, add the eggs. For the last 5 minutes, add the frozen green beans and the sliced cabbage.
  2. Drain everything. Cool the eggs under the cold tap, peel them and cut them in half.
  3. Put the grated garlic, peanut butter, ketjap manis and sambal in a small pan on low heat. Stir in hot water, 1 spoon at a time, until the sauce pours.
  4. Put the warm vegetables and eggs on plates and pour the sauce over. It is best eaten warm, not hot.
